  • The Veterans Agency serves as a focal point within the Ministry of Defence for providing information and advice on veteran's issues.  Its free Helpline service is available to deal with enquiries from ex-service personnel and their dependants.  Call free on 0800 169 2277 or visit their website: www.veterans-uk.info

 

  • The Victory Services Club  is a private members club for both serving and ex-servicemen and women.  Located near Marble Arch the club offers convenient and affordable accommodation for the West End of London: www.vsc.co.uk

 

  • The Royal British Legion Attendants offers support and assistance to ex-servicemen and women resettling into civilian life:  www.rbla.org.uk

  • www.oldoppos.co.uk is special because it provides a link of friendship between the serving and the retired, the young and old. It's not a contact website for old comrades, not a reunion website for old comrades, not an association of old comrades. It is not any of these things; it is all of them and more.



  • SSAFA (Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen and Families Association) are the national charity helping serving and ex-Servicemen, women and their families, including widows and widowers in need.

    Eligibility for their help is one day's paid service in any of HM forces and National Service.  They also help those who completed a period of satisfactory service in the Reserves. www.ssafa.org.uk
